Itinerary
Day 1 :
Dehradun/Haridwar - Guptkashi (217 km/ 6.4 hours)
Your Badrinath Kedarnath tour package begins in Haridwar/ Dehradun. Arrive at the Dehradun Airport/ Haridwar Railway Station and meet our representative, who'll assist you with a drive to Guptkashi. Upon reaching, check-in at a pre-booked hotel and settle down. In the evening, seek blessings at the Ardhnarishwar Temple. Then, get back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 :
Guptkashi - Kedarnath (30 km by road & 19 km trek)
Early in the morning, depart from the hotel and head towards Sonprayag. Upon arriving, complete the medical test before starting the Trek. The trek from Sonprayag to Kedarnath is 19 km long, and Pony or Palki can cover it on a direct payment basis. The guests are advised to carry medicines, toiletries, warm woolens, and clothes for the overnight stay at Kedarnath. Pilgrims have the option to book Puja at Temple online or from a counter situated at Temple. Various Pujas are available like Rudrabhishek Puja, Panchopachaar Puja, Shiv Ashtotari Path, Shiv Namawali etc. Overnight stay will be arranged at Basic Guesthouse which is at walking distance from Kedarnath Temple.
Day 3 :
Kedarnath – Guptkashi (19 km trek & 30 km by road)
On the third day of your Badrinath Kedarnath tour, get up early, take a bath, and head to the Kedarnath shrine at around 4:45 a.m. Have a Darshan of Lord Shiva, attend the 'Abhishekam', offer sincere prayers in the shrine, and receive Lord Shiva's blessings. You can also prostrate with your head touching the deity, etc. Now, you will be back at the Guesthouse and collect your luggage to start the trek down to Sonprayag. From there, our driver will meet you and escort you to your hotel in Guptkashi for an overnight stay.
Day 4 :
Guptkashi - Badrinath (194 km/ 5.9 hours)
Today, have breakfast, check out of the hotel, and get on a drive to Badrinath via Chopta Valley. En route, visit Nandprayag & Vishnu Prayag. Upon reaching Badrinath, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and unwind. If time permits, you can attend the evening Aarti at Badrivishal Temple. Further, an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 :
Badrinath - Joshimath - Rudraprayag (154 km/ 4.5 hours)
On the fifth day of your Divine Do Dham Yatra, you visit the Badrinath shrine. After bathing in the Taptkund early in the morning, you make your way to Darshan at the Badrinath Dham. Also known as Badri Vishal, this shrine is one of the five forms of Lord Vishnu. There are other interesting sightseeing spots just within the 3 km of Badrinath shrine, like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Now, drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath, where you can visit the Narsingh Temple on the way. Later, drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Further, an overnight stay at Rudraprayag.
Day 6 :
Rudraprayag – Devprayag - Rishikesh (137 km/ 3.8 hours)
Post Breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and start with the drive to Rishikesh. On the way, visit Dharidevi Temple, known as the protector of Char Dhams. After the temple visit, drive to Devprayag and visit the confluence of Mandakini & Alakhnanda Rivers "that form the Holy River Ganga" and Raghunath temple. This is one of the 108 divyadesams temple.
Further, continue with a drive to Rishikesh, a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga surrounded by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. Here, visit the significant attractions such as Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, and Shivananda Ashram (subject to time permission). Later, get a transfer to Rishikesh Railway Station / Dehradun Airport for your onward journey.
